Mission Pawsible Adoption Event

On the last Saturday of each month, The Dog House transforms into something even more special than usual. Rescue dogs from Mission Paws'ible, a Bali-based dog rescue organisation, arrive at the cafe for an adoption day, and the energy in the room shifts entirely. Tables are pushed aside, blankets are laid out, and suddenly the cafe is full of wagging tails and people falling in love.

Bali has an estimated 600,000 street dogs. Many of them face hunger, disease, and abuse on a daily basis. Mission Paws'ible works to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many of these dogs as possible, and The Dog House is proud to be part of that mission. Our monthly adoption days give these dogs a chance to meet potential families in a relaxed, welcoming environment, far from the stress of a shelter.

Each adoption day features dogs that have been rescued, vaccinated, sterilised, and cared for by the Mission Paws'ible team. Visitors can meet the dogs, learn their stories, and start the adoption process on the spot. Even if you are not ready to adopt, coming along to play with the dogs and spread the word makes a real difference.

The Dog House donates a portion of its revenue to dog rescue operations in Bali. Hosting these adoption days is one of the most visible ways we give back, but the support runs deeper. From fundraising events to awareness campaigns, the cafe serves as a meeting point for the rescue community in Canggu.
